- What is Climate Controlled Storage, and do I need to use it?
Climate Controlled units are inside of a temperature-controlled building. At Highline Storage, we heat and cool our Climate Controlled buildings. The temperature is kept at a minimum of 55 degrees in the winter and 80 degrees in the summer. Climate Controlled storage is important for items that are sensitive to heat changes and humidity. Items that should be placed in a Climate Controlled unit include photos, documents, papers, wood furniture, clothing and anything else that could be affected by extreme temperatures or humidity. If you are unsure whether you need Climate Controlled storage, just ask our friendly storage counselors. We will be happy to help you find the best solution for your needs.
- When can I move in?
If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime. In addition to online rentals we offer a 24-hour on-site rental kiosk at our Johnston location to make renting a unit anytime easy.
- What type of documentation do I need to provide to rent a space?
We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport), a valid physical address, and a working phone number.
- Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No, all leases are month-to-month.
